A normal day in the Green House
A normal day in the Green House starts quite early. Mama Jean, the house mother, wakes up at 4a.m. to prepare the breakfast. Slowly, the kids get up. A loud radio calls the late smallest children from the bed. In their plate, they won't find any warm bred, chocolate cream, jam, ham, cheese or musli, but rice and viand (like a soup fish or eggs and vegetables). And the children enjoy it! Then everything has to be tidied up, and everyone has to help. Mama Jean makes sure that every child is fulfilling their duty. Before or after the breakfast, they take a shower or clean their dirty clothes and hang them in the sun. Sometimes, they play secretly a bit longer in the garden. Quickly, they brush their theeth, while a young student is fixing her hair one more time. Soon it is 6:30 a.m., and in nice uniforms the children leave for school together with the other students of the village.
